Ever dreamt about being in a human-powered watercraft racing across the clear clean river? Dream no more, live your dream! The annual Dragon Boating season has arrived!!! MSO is organising a dragon boating session at Bank Street Pyrmont in collaboration with Macquarie University, Sydney University and UTS.These dragon boat sessions are going to be heaps of fun! WE will be showing you what it is all about, then YOU can decide how far YOU want to take it!

Why?
You not only get to touch a Dragon Boat,but you actually get to be part of the power to paddle it!
Try first hand the long tradition of Dragon Boat Racing! (Who gets this kind of chances anyway?)
Most importantly, it is FUN!

How: 20 rowers ,(we would need to even out the male female ratio, so it is on a first come first place basis)

When: 5th of May,Saturday 11.30-1.30pm

How much: $5 per person

Where: Bank Street Pyrmont (under ANZAC bridge)

What to bring: A bottle of water, sunscreen, sandals/thongs (not sneakers), change of clothes and towel (if you are heading out afterwards, basically you’ll most probably get slightly wet)

Car parking: Available on the site or street metered parking. There will be an open ground on the left side of the street

Every year, MSO hosts the ever popular Pasar Malam Night where Malaysian food is no longer just a dream.
 
This year, the Malaysian Student Organization would like to invite you to a food frenzy not to be missed…

The event will be held in the Beer Garden and Arc Precinct, perfect for after class chill down.
 
This time, it is going to be Bigger! Better! And of course YUMMIERR!!!

1.    Combining with NUMEROUS SOCIETIES from all over SOUTH-EAST ASIA
2.    Over 30 stalls each selling different dishes
 
Whats on for the night?
We have Dance Performances by D2MG soc, cultural dances, live band performances, and student talents.
 

RENT A STALL!
Have an awesome dish that you’re friends would swear on?? Want to earn some extra profits?? 
This is your chance, with so many societies combined, the crowd will be MASSIVE. In previous years, each stall has managed to be a killer sell-out. Its time to show off your culinary skills!

Stall Vendor details :
Cost : Rental charge of $70 per stall
Profit : Everything you sell on that night!!! (we take nothing!)
Requirements :
1. We will only provide tables, chairs and electricity. All other cooking equipment and serving utensils (ie.plates, forks, etc) are to be provided on your own. 
2. ONLY FOOD DISHES ALLOWED. No drinks to be sold by any vendors.
3. Halal Food Only(Meat has to be bought from a halal vendor)
4. The type of food you will be allowed to sell will be on a first come, first serve basis. There will be no repeat of dishes sold, to ensure a variety on the night. (ie if someone else is selling nasi lemak, you will no longer be allowed to sell that particular dish. so hurry book fast!)

Also, for the first time…SPICY WINGS EATING COMPETITION!
Dare a mate! Or if you think you can take the heat, rock up to the beer garden and register your name for a SPICY WINGS SHOWDOWN. first 10 contestants only. Registration opens at 5pm and will close at 7pm. Competition starts at 7.15pm sharp.
Winner walks away with a surprise prize to be announced.

After our highly successful Moonlight Beach Chaos, MSO is proud to present our next adrenalin-pumping event, ROCK CLIMBING!

So get your muscles ready to work out! We’ll be going to the Sydney Indoor gym which is a little harder to find so please meet us at the main walkway in at UNSW at 10am SHARP. No Malaysian time please, we will leave on time as we have a booking.

Committee members will be waiting as usual at the entrance of Uniwalk to take everyone there and back.
