As you may know by now, MASCA NSW has been selecting players for the past few weeks to represent in the National Conference and Games 2008. However, for those who will not be participating in the sporting events, come and join us in Brisbane as a SUPPORTER! It will be your chance to cheer on the players, or friends, or even take a holiday to Brisbane! The details for NCG 2008 are as the following:

Date: 1st July 2008- 4th July 2008

Attached are the packages for supporters. Being a supporter includes getting a MASCA NSW T-shirt, goody bags and also the opportunity to meet other Malaysians from all around Australia.

Finally, THE Mamak Night has arrived. I’ve heard a lot about it from the senior committees and has been anticipating it since starting of the semester.

 6.15pm – Reached Ananda’s place to help carry the Teh Tarik.

6.30pm – Carrying the uber heavy Teh Tarik from Barkers ALL THE WAY to the RoundHouse with Kai Xian.

6.45pm – Helping out with the arrangements of food and stuffs at Cougar Bar. Heaps of hungry people are already queueing outside the bar.

7.00-9.45pm – Party started. People began coming in and lined up for fooodddddddddddd. We had fried chicken, chicken curry, satay chicken, fried rice, white rice and roti canai. It was a great deal, for a mere $5(members), you get to have unlimited rounds of food and drinks! A lot of people had more than one round and soon we ran out of food even before 9.45pm.

9plus/10-ish pm – Most people have left. Committees and some really nice people stayed back and clean up the mess.

At the end of the day, it was a superb night! About 150 (gross estimation) people turned up for the event! Thank you peeps, and we hope to see you during our next event – The Ski Trip 2008
